Broad Head Arrow and Irriatation
Why have Anet once again (pseudo-)nerfed a perfectly good ranger skill. I was thinking before GW:EN was released, "Hmm? Dungeons with especially difficult bosses? I can see everyone wanting a broad head arrow ranger in the harder missions!" But no. You can't physically daze dungeon bosses (tried this on Murakai and Fragment of Antiquities, do correct me if I'm wrong). I know I can find teams with hundreds of different builds, but I hate the way that Anet continually prunes us so that we have to play certain things to succeed.

Was this recently? Cause I dazed the Fragment and Muraki a week ago, but haven't gone to kill Muraki in a couple of days.

Yeah, i dazed Murakai 2 weeks ago when I fought her, if I remember correctly. With the same skill. But those two were today and yesterday.

Murakai can be dazed; however it has 1/2 condition duration so with 16 Marks and a Silencing String, daze will only last 14 seconds. T
Fragment of Antiguities is daze-able... no 1/2 conditions either.

Huh. Well, if that is the case, I must have a bug, as Broad Head Arrow didn't even give them the condition sign (I know about the 1/2 condition).

I daze Murakai regularly, yet I don't use BHA. I use this build:
[wiki]Sloth Hunter's Shot[/wiki][skill]Concussion Shot[/skill][skill]Savage Shot[/skill][skill]Prepared Shot[/skill][skill]Throw Dirt[/skill][skill]Read the Wind[/skill][wiki]Ebon Battle Standard of Courage[/wiki][wiki]Light of Deldrimor[/wiki]
Light of Deldrimor is very optional.
Daze her all the time, without fail.

The "bug" you might be getting is if you use BHA as your first attack, Murakai sometimes moves before being hit by it which allows her to dodge it. So try doing one normal attack then use BHA.

Now i want to see who can beat Magmus... Omg, has anyone beat Frostmaw?
I usually Pin Down Murakai while Jin hits BHA and my Olias minions bodyblock her... Perhaps this has something to do with it. :P

Hey Ensign, I tried to track down some more information about this ... I couldn't find anything yet. Was that a secret update while they implemented Hard Mode for EotN?
I assume the information comes from testing, is there any other source you know?
Thanks a bunch for the info, very intresting,
Timebandit

What? That would be like breaking the game on purpose! You can't make a skill and tell me that in HM I can't daze or blind bosses...
I'm not saying you're wrong or right, I'm just saying that would be a horribly wrong curve to throw at players. I would never be in HM if they did that. Cheating because you're the programmer doesn't make it fair. It's still cheating!

WTF are you talking about???
I did Shards of Orr in HM a couple days ago and BHA from Zho worked just fine on both Fendi Nin and Soul of Fendi Nin.
